Empezamos el recorrido en el impresionante Fuerte San Lorenzo; construido en el siglo XVI en la desembocadura de Río Chagres, único río en el mundo que desemboca a dos océanos (Atlántico y Pacífico). Es un lugar ideal para la observación de aves y revivir la historia que este lugar posee.

Nuestra siguiente parada será en las Esclusas de Agua Clara. Nos dirigiremos el Centro de Visitantes del Canal Ampliado; un lugar asombroso con vista perfecta para ver el paso de los barcos de gran calado por el tercer juego de esclusas del Canal de Panamá, recorrer su camino ecológico y disfrutar de un lujoso almuerzo.

A representative of Colón de Contrastes will pick you up at your hotel. The tour will last 8 hours, starting from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We start the tour at the impressive Fort San Lorenzo; built in the 16th Century at the beginning of the Chagres River, the only river in the world that flows into two oceans (Atlantic and Pacific). It is an ideal place for bird watching and relive the history that this place has.

Our next stop will be at the Agua Clara Locks. We will head to the New Visitor Center at the NeoPanamax set of locks; an amazing place with a perfect view to see the passage of the vessels of great depth through the third set of locks of the Panama Canal, a walk your eco-friendly trail and enjoy a luxurious lunch.
